Iaidou (ee-ah-ee-doh-oo)
居合道
いあいどう
N.
Literally meaning the way of residing harmony, iaidou is a sword martial art. The art is more of a reserved art and by that, I mean it is an art of quick strikes. The art is full of grace and is never meant to be an art of flash. Though this is a lethal art, it is an art that needs serious discipline out of the wielder. Two iaidou artists I know of are both from SNK Playmore: Ukyou of "Samurai Spirits" and Hibiki of "Gekka no Kenshi".
