Character's name: Glow.

Appearance: Glow is usually around 4'5ft tall and most of the time he/it weighs 92lbs. Its 'skin' is a thick rubbery substance that vaguely resembles pale human skin but has a texture like that of rubber- probably because it sort of IS rubber. Glow is three months old but could pass for a human ten-year-old. Its hair is soft like cloth most of the time and is redish brown in color. Glow's eyes have two colors, red during the day and pinkish-glowing-red at night. Its nose is a small dainty little thing that wriggles cutely when Glow is thinking and its ears are pointed at the tips. It is male when it is in darkened spaces and nosex when it is in the light. When in dark places (like at night or in the tunnels), its skin is hard like rock and when in the light or during the day its skin is rubbery. Glow wears a tattered and blood-stained white laboratory coat, guess where it got that?

Personality: Glow likes the color red, the taste of knee-caps and heart meat. It preferes cold places to hot ones and hates -HATES- the sunlight. Glow has the mentality of a fifteen-year-old girl half the time, but it swaps between that mental identity and that of a wounded animal at random. It is a bit selfish and it doesn't share its meat with its friends. It's hobby is making musical tunes with the knee-caps of its food. The other Shadows think that Glow is very talented in that ability and often it holds quaint little concerts for them. Glow likes attention from its peers and sort of considers itself to be 'the best'. It can speak and has learnt a few human words like 'please god don't' and 'no!' and 'yes', these words it occassionally slips into its musical performances. Oh, Glow is so smart and popular!

Special abilities: Glow has fingernails that can cut through diamond, and a body with the consistancy of rock. It can take a hit from a school bus and walk away unscratched. When it gets pissed off it grows about 3 foot and its skin turns black, its nails turn into thick claws and its breathe releases liquid nitrogene, to which Glow is immune. Glow has the ability to make people think he is a human little boy and many meet their fate this way, there is no aura of evil around Glow. Glow can also walk on two feet, but like most Shadows is quicker on all-fours.

History: Like its brothers and sister Glow was born in a test-tube, the scientist responsible for Glow's developement injected it with liquid nitrogene once a week in small, nearly harmless amounts, Glow's core temperature was always kept below 10 degrees, which is why Glow was able to handle the liquid nitrogene. Most life-forms would have perished at such a temperature, but Glow's bio-constructure had been taken from here and there in an effort to make him immune to the coolness. When Glow was being taken out of his tube for manual testing the scientist that looked after him would give Glow a drug to make his its skin soft and rape the Shadow. The physical damage was always slow to heal and Glow was rarely healed properly by the next time the scientist took him aside. Finally, when one of the more powerful Shadows broke out Glow took its opertunity and made a break for it too. The first people Glow killed were the scientists who had worked on it. He keeps their kneecaps in his bed to remind him why two-leggers should be eaten on sight.
