Domestic Abuse

Editor's note: this poem was MEANT to disgust you. So if it offended you, it probably should have.

You held her down
she looked so good

You traced her skin
it was so flawless

You slapped her face
she looked away

You unbuttoned her pants
she was asking for it

You took it out
she wanted it bad

You made her scream
in pleasure I swear

You ignored her cries
it's a game we play

She pleaded for you to stop
you finished anyway

you DIDN'T...
hear her voice
beyond the sheets

hold her hand
without holding her down

love the truth she offered to you
do the things a dad is supposed to do
now she'll grow with fear fully consumed
because daddy, she didn't want you to.
