The love realtionship in this drama revolves mainly around sammul, charmaine and hong tsi nei. At first sammul has feelings for tsi nei, but then he gets rejected as tsi nei wants to focus on her studies and does not have feelings for him in the first place.
In the meantime, when sammul was trying to date tsi nei, his friendship with charmaine strengthens and soon they for in love.
But towards the end, tsi nei develops a kidney disease threatening her life. Her sammul lends out a helping hand as tsi nei is desperate for someone she can turn to. Sammul looks after her purely out of friendship but tsi nei takes it wrong as she falls in love with him because of all the things he has done for her.
At this point of time, a love triangle develops between them three and charmaine breaks up with sammul because she thought that sammul had feelings towards tsi nei once again.
At the end, everything is resolved and sammul gets together with charmaine. All of them also pass their nursing test and they all become qualified nurses.
