The name basically says it all. They moderate Role-play in Shimlar. They will warn and/or mute anyone that gives them reason to. It is a part of their job, so don't give them flack for it. If you do happen to get warned or muted by a mod, it's pretty much a given that you deserved it. Moderators aren't picked for their good looks, but on their ability to RP and other things, such as knowing the rules.
Now for the more pleasant aspect. Role Play Moderators are there to HELP you. If you are unsure on the best way to go about doing something, do NOT be afraid to PM one and ask. They won't bite :) If another player is harassing you about something you rp'ed, in pm's. Tell them. People that are immature enough to harrass/make fun of something in rp or IRL will NOT grow up/stop it on their own most of the time. Moderators are there to deal with them. Please. Let them do their jobs.
Also, harassing a mod for a decision made, after a punishment, will not be tolerated. Insulting,harrassing, or bothering a mod after a punishment will be dealt with. Most people, if muted, or warned, accept it, but some people react badly to such things, especially if they feel they don't deserve it. However, if you have a problem about a desicion made by a moderator, feel free to take it up with Lord A and the crew :).
Role-Play Moderator Reward Abilities
RP mods have the ability to give rewards of Experience points. This is well-known. However, first and foremost, the reward that you get from RP should be the satisfaction of knowing that you had fun, and did a good job. Usually if you dont worry about getting rewarded, and you have fun and do well, you will recieve a reward from a mod. Begging a moderator for experience points is probably the most sure-fire way to NOT get any reward from them. Have fun, work on your skill, and eventually your efforts will be noticed.
