| OOC/IC and Seperating them both ... | ||||||||
| OUT OF CHARACTER OR OOC Out of character, this means irl. Or online. But not with the character you have created. The character you create should have a different name and such than you. Out of character simply means. In real life. IN CHARACTER OR IC This is when you are rping, you are not talking out of character, therefore you are in character. When you are in character, try to limit your ooc comments. To be in character means you are doing something with your character. SEPARATING OOC and IC This is VERY important. OOC and IC should be strictly seperated. If something happens IC then try to keep it ic. Don't mix the two, that's considered bad rp. If you have a bad day, don't turn your character into something evil. Try to keep your roleplay the same, even if you have to wait a while to get rid of your bad mood. Mixing OOC and IC information in most rp area's is considered not only bad rp, but can lose you rp friends and ooc friends. If someone tells you something OUT of CHARACTER, then you don't know it with your character. Ect. It's simple to do, just keep it in the back of your head. |
