q      Worked with UNICEF, EPI and NP FP & PHC team in preparation of plan for Pakistan on Vitamin A Supplementation presented in South Asian Regional Meeting on Acceleration of Vitamin A Supplementation in Thailand in February, 2005.

q      Followed up finalization of Grant Agreement between Micronutrient Initiative and UNICEF Pakistan for initiating pilot project in uncovered areas in the 34 Phase-I EPI districts.

q      Experienced in collaborating with UNICEF, WHO, Canadian International Development Agency, World Bank, International Finance Corporation, Save the Children USA, DFID, USAID, Asian Development Bank, JICA, KfW in health development.

       The Micronutrient Initiative (MI) is a not-for-profit organization specialized in addressing micronutrient malnutrition.

       MI is governed by an international Board of Directors. MI supports and promotes food fortification and supplementation programs in Asia, Africa and Latin America and provides technical and operational support in those countries where micronutrient malnutrition is most prevalent.

       Provide support for Vitamin A Supplementation through the National EPI Program and National Program for Family Planning and Primary Health Care.

       Oversee the work of Provincial Coordinators, Vitamin A Supplementation located in each of the four provinces and Northern areas.
