| Sale Terms Pickup time: All pricing is considered for pick-up at our farm-other arrangements may be arranged. But all traveling expenses and costs of shipping will be the buyer's responsibility. If purchasing a kid at weaning it must be picked up within two weeks of its weaning date. All other animals must be picked up within 14 days or two weeks of us receiving your deposit. After this 14 day period a $1.50 a day boarding fee per animal will be added which must be paid before said animal is removed from our farm. If after 30 days animal is not picked up or other arrangements made any contract verbal or otherwise will be null and void and animal will be placed once again for sale. No refund will be paid. A time for pickup will need to be set either by emailing me at: [email protected] or by calling Jennifer at 785-241-6050 Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the purchase price will be required in order for us to hold or reserve any animal. A refund will only be given if said animal you have paid a deposit on dies or is injured before pick-up and hopefully that will never happen, but if it did happen you would get your deposit back unless you wanted to put it on another animal. A deposit is not required to purchase an animal from us, but it is the only way we can hold one for you. Otherwise it is on a first come basis. Please email me for the address to mail your deposit to. We do not accept pay-pal at this time. Money orders by mail are accepted, as are personal checks only if it will be 2 weeks until a pre-weaned kid is picked up, to give the check time to clear. Due to some unfortunate incidences, Cash is the only thing accepted at pickup! Health and Testing: We STRONGLY encourage you to pick up your animal in person from our farm so that you can see what you will be getting and since we have no control over how said animal is managed, fed or housed after leaving our farm, we cannot make any guarantees on health, perfomance, temperament or otherwise once said animal leaves our farm; all animals are sold "AS IS". Due to the risk of introducing disease back into our herd we can not take animals back once they leave our farm. Any testing or health certificates wanted or needed to transport beyond state lines will be the responsibity of the buyer. Goats weaning age and older will have their vaccinations, (C,D &T and Pastuerella pnemonia vaccine) be dewormed if needed and hooves trimmed for you before pick-up. Wethers will be castrated before pick-up for you. All registered animals will come with the transfer papers or application for registration, but buyer will be responsible for the costs of transfer or registration through the registery organization. (such as ABGA) You will recieve all paperwork at pick-up, including a fully disclosed known history of your goat which includes vet visits, vaccinations, history of Sire and Dam, etc and a contract stating these terms to be signed by both the buyer and seller. If desired by buyer we will have animals over 6 months old tested before they leave our farm for CL through U.C. Davis. However, this will be completley at the buyers expense and buyer must pay for testing in full which includes shipping of samples and vet fees before we will do the tests. All goats not born on our farm have tested negative and we consider our herd CL free, but if a test ever came back positive we would refund the cost of CL testing and shipping in full to you, as well as your deposit. Please contact us to work out the details if having an animal tested is your wish. We take every measure possible to ensure a healthy and disease free herd which includes mandatory testing and extended quarentines for ALL new arrivals before they are ever turned out with our herd, no exceptions. We work closely with our vet as herd health is a priority to us. However, buyer's must keep in mind that tests are not 100% accurate and since we have no control over how the animal is cared for after leaving our farm, we can not guarantee any animal after it leaves our farm. *If sending a deposit on a goat through the mail, and you understand and agree to these terms, please print off this page, sign under "buyer", date it and mail to me with your deposit.
