It is not 100 percent correct as the point system is too complicated when the flower come in. Hence, if player follow the point system and still cant win your opponent, do not complain to me lol.

Ever wonder you are behind a player , what hand you should make in order to win him?
Sometimes, you have being scolded for mahjong small hand or you yourself get mad when people mahjong small and make you lost the tournament right?
There is no point mahjong small hand when you know you cannot catch up with your opponents right?
Hence, it is nice and more competitive to roughly know the idea of how the point works and try to mahjong on that particular hand.
Below will show an example of what hand you should make and a simple idea how many points the hand you have mahjong with no flower tournament.Those that are not shown. you can use the yahoo system above to do the math your own. lol.
Use the number of points you are behind your opponent and divide it by 4. If you are in the east seat, use the result and divide it further by 2.
For example: Your opponent has 2176 ponts and you have 1956 points.
Step 1: 2176 - 1956 = 220 points
Step 2: 220/4 = 55 points
Step 3: See the below which hand will roughly get you 55 points and do at least the particular hand.
NOTE: EAST seat will win or lost double.
a) Mahjong on pair of dragons or good winds with the rest mixed KFC.
The scoring system is what I have either learn or notice in the past, if there is any mistake, don't be too harsh on me lol. Furthermore, when kong and pong of dragon/wind and flower come in , the scoring system will be too complicated to calculate the exact points. I myself will normally try to do the hand to win, but if some reason like player have concealed pong or correct flower. it might not enough. Hence, this is a simple guide for the members and NOT 100 percent correct.
Hope this will make the members roughly get the idea how the yahoo point system work.
