Suitcases tend to get heavier as you accumulate things along the way. All the goodies and trinkets can be so tempting. What can one do? (And remember, mailed postcards are weightless souvenirs!).
Go for the memorable, perishable consumables (Snake dinner combo, Snake Alley, Taipei Taiwan)
Option One: Take photos of all the neat things that are hard to pack/that you don't NEED (Venice, Italy)
Or: Travel to where there are no shops, and you're forbidden to take anything with you. (Half Moon Island, Antarctica)
Fall in love with protected national treasures that you can never have.
