Kikuchi Auto can help you import your dream car. Once you have purchased a car from Yahoo Auctions Japan we can arrange the shipping to your home country! Please carefully read the instructions below:


Purchasing Steps:

1.Register your account with Kikuchi Auto.

2.Place the require deposit in your account (We require a deposit of 50,000YEN when purchasing cars from Yahoo Auction.)

3.Choose your dream car from Yahoo. Kikuchi Auto can translate & ask questions to the seller if you wish before you place a bid. Purchase your dream car on Yahoo Auction. We provide your own Yahoo ID and you can place your bid anytime by logging onto your account. Yahoo Auctions displays the time remaining for bids on your chosen car. It is your responsibility to check this via your account at the close of Auction on your car. you pay within 48 hours of this time. You will also receive an e-mail notice from Yahoo Japan and the seller as soon as the auction is over, telling you that you have placed the winning bid. Please forward these emails to us.

4.0nce we received your funds, we will organise the transport from the seller to a port and make a booking on a ship to your nearest port.

5.We will email you the departure and estimated arrival dates.

6.We will post your Bill of Lading to you. the Bill of Lading is a necessary document which you require to receive your car.



Costs

Estimated Costs per car:

Cost of your car plus

Cost of transport in Japan: 25,000YEN.

Cost of Custom Agent in Japan: 30,000YEN.

Our commission: 50,000YEN.



Extra fees

In inclusion with the above fees Kikuchi Auto occasionally has to charge extra fees. For example if a seller asks fees such as Yahoo fees, tax, etc we will pass these charges onto you.



Examples of possible extra fees are:

5% TAX only if the seller has charged us.

3% Yahoo Auction fee only if the seller has charged us.

Handling fee only if the seller has charged us.

30,000YEN cancellation fee if you cancel your purchase or bid on non-auction cars.

Extra Maintenance fee if your car is not running or leaking oil or petrol. etc

Registration fee if the seller has charged us.

Transport fee for transport within Japan if exceeding 25,000YEN.

Any other fee incurred by customs agent or shipping company in relation to your car that they have charged us.

Non-running cars are charged minimum 50,000YEN transport fee. Storage fee if you require storage of your car in Japan.

Workshop fee for the removal of air conditioning gas. (necessary for the import of cars into Australia) approx 19,000YEN.

Important! We will not remove parts or modify your car in any way. Please do not ask as you will be disappointed when you do not receive a reply.

For example:

We will not change/remove your wheels.

We will not change/remove any body kits or chassis no your car.

We will not inspect and repair your car (repairs are occasionally done only upon request of the shipping company.)

We will not be held responsible for any missing items from your car.

We are not responsible for any faulty, damaged, ruined or missing items.

4.0nce we have received your funds, we will organise to transport your car from the seller to a workshop in Japan to remove the air conditioning gasses. (this is to comply with a new rule issued by the Australian Government) * an extra workshop fee apply for this service.

5.We will fax or post your cars registration paper to you, so you can apply for import approval. Application For Approval to Import a Vehicle Click Here

6.Following the removal of the air conditioning gas,we will organise transport to a port in Japan and make a booking on a ship to your nearest port (Brisbane, sydney, Melbourne,Adelaide or perth.)


7.We will email you the departure and estimated arrival dates.

8.We will post your Bill of Lading to you. the Bill of Lading is a necessary document which you require to receive your car.
