| Mr. Ryu was a great guest at this years convention. His enthusiasm about Godzilla and company is very evident when you look at his accomplishments in the genre. He's portrayed many different kaiju through the years, including King Ghidorah '91, Battra, Baby Godzilla, and Godzilla Jr. To continue his career, Hurricane has donned many of the promotional Godzilla suits and performed at numerous attractions, events, and film premieres. Fans got the opportunity to watch some videos that Huricane brought along, showcasing some of his promotional work. He is also a big fan of sketching Godzilla and has done at least two story board books. Below you can see an awesome sketch and autograph that I got at the con this year. I have to say, I very much enjoyed having him as a guest this year. He seemed genuinely excited to be meeting the fans as you can see in the pictures on this page, and we were certainly excited to meet him. |
