SI Turbulent Summer's sire is the infamous Unbridled. Unbridled won the Kentucky Derby and the Breeders' Cup Classic at three years of age. He is a sire of thirty-seven stakes winners, ten GI winners, two Champions, and three Classic winners. His runners have won the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, Belmont Stakes, Breeders' Cup Juvenile (twice), Breeders' Caup Juvenile Fillies, CCA Oaks, Travers, Spinster, Floria Derby (twice), etc. He earned over $4 in his racing career. Fappiano won ten races from seveteen starts, earning $370,213. Gana Facil won six races and is the dam of both Unbridled and Cahill Road.

Urb's dam, Easy Summer, was unraced due to a fractured skull she suffered as a two-year-old. Her sire, Easy Goer, earned over $4 million dollars from winning fourteen races of twenty starts. In 1988 he was named Champion two-year-old colt. At age two he won two races; at age three he won eight races, including the Belmont, Wood Memorial, and Jockey Club Gold Cup. He was sired by Alydar, notorious in his own right. Summer Mood was a Champion sprinter in Canada in 1985. She won the Ontario Fashion Stakes (twice), Etobicoke Handicap, Quick Reward Handicap, Valnore Handicap, Ontario Debutante Stakes, and Shady Well Stakes. She has had foals sired by Silver Hawk, Thunder Gulch, and Hennessy.

Urb is a kind young stallion, full of energy and everlasting spunk. He is good-natured and was brought up kindly by gentle and knowing hands. I am proud to own him and have him here at the farm, as he is a wonderful asset to our breeding program with his bloodlines. Urb is the horse I like to go to just to wrap my arms around his neck, or back, and just stand in the paddock with. He enjoys mouthing hair and clothing, so you better beware if you visit him!
