This exquisite looking grey mare is a registered Thoroughbred mare with excellent conformation. Equally as nice is her kind and willing attitude. Bebe is sweet and easy to handle, and she is ridden daily by my friend's twelve-year-old daughter. She is not mare-ish at all and she has excellent manners both on the ground and under saddle. She stands cross-tied easily while being groomed, tacked up, bathed, vetted, or shoed. I doubt this mare has a mean bone in her body.
Bebe is a unique horse here at Shiba Inc. as she is the only Thoroughbred that is in training for endurance racing. This gal has a lot of stamina, but I'm not too keen on pushing her too much with long distances. We go trail riding for miles at a slow trot to build up her stamina and endurance and muscles. She does well, and I was happy that she placed fourth in her first race. She hasn't been bred yet, and probably won't be for a while as I don't want her to get out of shape for racing. In addition to endurance racing she also is shown in Dressage and show jumping, and she is slowly placing well in both.
