Bold Executive's sire, Persian Bold, earned $80,394 from sixteen starts. Of those sixteen starts he won six times (although he never won a grade one rated stakes race, he did win grade two and three stakes races), placed three times, and took third once. Her grandsire, Bold Lad, earned $66,848 by racing eight times, five races of which he won. In 1957 at age three, Boldy's great-grandsire Bold Ruler was named Horse of the Year and carried the weight of 140lbs. four times in his racing career that year. At age four, he was named Champion Sprinter and he broke the record at Hialeah by finishing nine furlongs in 1:47. He sired eighty-two stakes winners and eleven champions. Relkarunner had a short career, racing two times and winning once, earning $2,334. Her sire, Relko, raced thirteen times winning nine races and placing twice. In England he won the Derby Stakes, a grade one race, the Poule d'Essai des Poulains that took place in France (also grade one race), Coronation Cup, and a handful of others.
Jurisdictional was an unraced mare, but her sire, Damascus, had an impressive race record. He raced thirty-two times, winning twenty-one times in such races as the Preakness, the Belmont, and the Aqueduct Stakes. At age three in 1967 he was Horse of the Year, and Champion Handicap Horse. Damascus' sire, Sword Dancer, had a nice racing career as well. He earned $829,610 by winning fifteen races from thirty-nine starts. He won the Belmont and Jockey Gold Cup, as well as several others. Resolver and Reviewer were also nice racehorses, winning a few stakes races.
Boldy is a lovely young chestnut mare who is currently in the training level of Dressage. Although she has not been shown yet, she is coming along nicely. Her hindquarters provide plenty of impulsion that is so necessary in Dressage. Her walk is smooth and even, her trot, although bumpy, is springy yet smooth, and her canter is like the rocking horse movements you dream of. Boldy is a sweet young mare, and I can hardly wait to begin showing her to show her off.
