I'm glad that you guys are finding the message board useful. I haven't really been able to post messages on it because I've been having a very hectic week. It's been midterms and this and that. After this, I'll probably get back to studying because I've got another 2 next week. Isn't it strange that all of them happen around the same time. What's worse is that all the work is due at around this time as well. It's like a conspiracy almost...

Just got back from some yummy Malaysian food that took about 1.5 hours to reach thanks to the usual California after work traffic. By the time we got to the place, it was already about 8pm. No wonder the food tasted so good:)
One thing that I felt was really scandalous was that they charged like $5.75 for 4 sticks of satay. I mean, that's almost RM22 for four sticks. For that kind of money, you would get 44 sticks in Malaysia.Big scandal right?

I'm glad it's the weekend. At least now, I can kick back and relax. No need to worry about taking exams now. Just need to worry about studying for them. Would like to do a million and one things, but just haven't got the resources (money, time, people etc...).

Was reading the message board a bit about love and life, and I can see that there are a whole lot of sceptics out there:) I don't mean to demean you guys or whatever, I actually agree with some of the things mentioned.
It's true that Hollywood has given us his perception of what the ideal guy or girl would be. We aren't so much brainwashed than we are pressured to conform. I still remember that saying, "its better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" in so many movies. But is it true? Would you guys agree with it or do you think it's better otherwise?

Anyway notice that Michael Jordan announced his come back? I'm not sure why I'm jumping up and down in excitement? I don't even recall being really elated when I first heard the 'breaking news' on ESPN. You always thought 'breaking news' was reserved for important world changing issues like the WTC attacks didn't u? Well, ESPN viewed MJ's come back as carrying the same importance. Strange huh.
Yet, many of the writers had said that his comeback has lost it's lustre admidst all that has happened in this country in the past month.
Haven't been reading too much about the backlashes anymore which is probably a good sign. I remember reading stuff about how cops had to go protect mosques in US because people were like driving cars into it and stuff. Crazy. I'm glad that the US has decided not to blow up the whole of Afghanistan while bin Laden could well be sitting in a totally different country. Bush has been praised for the way he's handled the matter and I know that he gets a lot of flak from people for being 'blur' and a lot of other unkind things. But, the thing is that he's handling the matter. So, I'm just glad that we're not facing war right now.

I didn't go for the Bebo Norman concert. Wanted to go so badly and that guy's voice is really super. Just that I thought that I'd feel guilty if I went with my midterm the following day. What did I end up doing instead? Playing basketball for 20 minutes and looking for a place to play after the lights went off.

So many things I wanna do that I don't do. That was one of them. Carpe Diem? I don't think so.
How many people actually live by that motto? Do you really seize the day and live it as if it were your last? Do you take every opportunity that passes you by and not regret? (PS-I am NOT encouraging you guys to do something illegal like rob a bank or anything okay)
Why do we have to live in a society that is so overly regulated by rules and norms? Why do we have to think things out over and over again? Why are we so afraid to do what's not expected? (PS-I repeat again. I am not inciting communism, socialism, or other unhealthy, illegal actitivies)

My brain's gone cold on me. I've run out of things to say and believe me, this is a first.
I'm sure I'll think of something and go "oh yeah, I wanted to put that down", but it'll be too late because I've already turned off my computer, brushed my teeth, slipped under my blanket and cuddled with my 3 big teddybears. Okay, no teddybears.

Oh yeah, just in case you guys don't know, there's actually a photo section if only you guys would click on that picture of a ticket on the right hand side of the screen. It says "Admit One". I'm guessing most of you computer savvy people would have figured that out by now, so this message is more for you computer-phobic ppl:)

Oh, and lastly, thanks for making this page lively guys. I'm glad that some of you guys like it despite it's overly simplistic design.:)
