| 14th June 2001 Gosh, Malaysia is great isn't it. I think we really take our country for granted. Look at the atrocities in Philippines right now. I mean, I have nothing against the country or anything, it's just that we should count ourselves blessed that stuff like that doesn't happen here. And personally, I really feel frustrated by what those terrorists are doing to the hostages. I mean, you may claim that you're doing it for whatever high purpose, but if it's money, then just say it. Don't hide behind the excuse of religion or something like that. I hope the people in Australia are doing well especially since it's exam week for most of them. I guess that those of you who actually read this would have been done with your exams by now. So, stay confident and try not to worry about it. It's about 2 months till I step on the plane to fly back to LA and i'm NOT looking forward to it. Time flies by so fast. I actually got a call from Ren Yi today which was a really really pleasant surprise. Till I found out that I was at the bottom of his hierarchy of important people to call:) He's gonna get it from me when he comes back to M'sia:) Oh, just want to praise God for giving me such good results this past semester. I'm not bragging, and no, it isn't false humility. I really didn't think I would have got what I got simply because I didn't do too well throughout the semester, but God is truly a God of miracles and He surprised me. I am thankful. Game 4 of the NBA Finals is in 7 hours. Lakers lead the series 2-1. But I think I wanna root for the Sixers. Iverson has carried his team on his back the whole season and it would be such an achievement if he could lead them to the title. Doesn't look like it, but then, it never hurts to dream either:) I was thinking about writing an awesome paragraph that would be so great that it would inspire you guys. But suddenly, I don't feel too inspired myself. :) |
