| 12 October 2001 The one where Rachel tells. Well, last night was the night. Ross finally found out that Rachel's pregnant...with HIS baby. I thought the way he reacted was absolutely hilarious and yet, this is something that's too common among young people nowadays. And as if he didn't know that condoms don't work a 100% of the time. You would think a scientist/palentologist like him would be aware of these small facts, but noooo...well joey didn't know it either, but then Joey is Joey. what can you expect from him? Monica and Chandler off on their honeymoon. For them, or Monica for the most part, it seems like she's so thrilled about the whole marriage honeymoon thing, but perhaps not so about the commitment. She's in love with the whole idea more than she's in love with Chandler. But then again, that's just a show isn't it?:) Michael Jordan scored 8 points last night on his return to the NBA in an exhibition game against the Pistons. Good thing he wasn't guarding Stackhouse. Instead, he matched up against Corliss Williamson, a 'heavy' kind of forward who still managed to get around Jordan. Uh oh...Let's hope McGrady isn't feeling well when Orlando come to town. I don't doubt Jordan's ability. His determination has always and will always be there. But are the legs gonna carry him? Big question. Survivor 3 started last night, same time as Friends. This network competition between CBS and NBC is bad. Bad for me anyway cause I want to watch both and they show both at the same times. Well, since FRIENDS seemed like the better alternative, I only watched bits and pieces of Survivor. Didn't seem too interesting. I think once people get used to this whole Survivor concept, what with all the wannabe shows, they get a bit sick of it. Besides, many people were wondering if Survivor would still have such an impact especially after Sept 11. Funny how everything revolves around Sept 11 nowadays. You just wish life would go on as it was before, but things change. Zoolander is the absolute dumbest show on the face of the earth. For those of you who haven't heard or seen it, it stars Ben Stiller and it's about him being this hot shot supermodel who is brainwashed to killed the Prime Minister of Malaysia. No, Mahathir does not guest star in the movie. The role of PM is actually played by this Chinese dude called Hassan and at the start of the show, they show a news footage which the heading Kuala Lumpur although it looks a lot more like Beijing or some place in China. I wonder what political implications this movie will have:) I thought it would be interesting to see stuff about M'sia, but it's just badly misrepresented. Kinda like Entrapment. The jokes in the movie are rather lame, well they seemed lame to me. It's not even stupid funny like Rat Race is. This is just duhh-funny I think. Notice how I'm such the expert in categorizing brainless movies. Takes one to know one doesn't it?:) Am so glad I survived last week. It was bad because of 4 midterms within a few days and then a research paper which I stayed up all night to do because it needed to be under my professor's room door by 8am the next day. So, here I am printing out my paper at 6:45am and leaving my room at 7am to hand it in. It's freezing cold and I think, "oh no, it's still early, what if the building isn't open yet??" Thankfully it is. And no, there was no real point in me telling you guys that, just wanted to share the pain of my affliction:) So how is everyone else doing? Exams? Homework? Holiday?:) Boyfriend/girlfriend? Accidents (hope not)? I had a dream last night about some of you guys, but I forgot what it was about..oh well.... And why do I still have one empty bottle of water on my table? You would think I would have thrown it out by now. But maybe I could so something to it, decorate it to make it look nice? Any suggestions? What if I put a flower in it? Will it die? How interesting that an empty bottle of mineral water can cause me to talk for almost a paragraph. I'm actually starting to feel sleepy now. But it's too late for me to take a nap cause it's almost close to class time. If I sleep now, I'd probably not wake up in time for class. Oh no. dilemma dilemma!! |
