I actually felt an earthquake for the first time yesterday. Can't say it was too thrilling being that I didn't even know what it was. It was really minor and at first, I thought that it was somebody jumping up and down really hard. But then, my cousin started calling my name from the other room and he was like 'earthquake!'. I think it must have been like only a 1. something or somewhere close because it honestly didn't feel threatening. But the door shook abit in its hinges, that was basically all I heard. Wish I had known, then I would have taken the time to soak in the experience.

You know, I had a million things I wanted to say, but right now, none seem to be coming out. I suppose it's cause I've got a sociology quiz tomorrow morning and a religion test 2 days from now which I haven't even started studying for.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, if you guys have any pictures, let me know.

Anyone watched the US Open final? Oh goodness, Pete just got blown away. Kinda felt sorry for him especially in the last 2 sets. Wish Hewitt would have been a bit kinder to the old man:) I guess the celebrations in Australia must have been wild since Hewitt was involved with so much controversy especially after his second round match against James Blake.

Yesterday, a friend of mine asked me if Australia, US or UK was the better to go study. Of course, my initial reaction was like 'stay away from US!! u don't know what you're going into!! it would be better for you to be thrown to a pack of hungry wolves!!:)' well, okay, i didn't tell my friend that.
To be perfectly honest, I think US is not a bad place to study. Gasp, I can believe I actually said that!!! Anyway, it's true because it really exposes you to a lot of different cultures. You may think you know all about Americans from what you see on tv, but tinseltown has given us rose-tinted glasses by which we view them. Reality shows us that not everyone is super macho or friendly. I admit, though that I came with a lot of stereotypes in my head about them and some proved to be right. Many times, some of the most intimidating looking people can be quite friendly. I bet I would have had lotsa fun in Australia especially with a little Malaysia community in University of Melbourne, yet I think coming to US is a good place to grow up. Hope Fahmi reads this and agrees with me:)

Goodness, I've spent the last 30 minutes reading the synopsis of FRIENDS episodes from previous seasons. I never realized that I've missed so many. I kept seeing the same ones again and again and again on Astro and I thought, wow, I've actually seen most of them. Boy was I wrong!:) Today, I watched the one where Ross meets Elizabeth's father played by Bruce Willis and then BW hooks up with Rachel which makes things really funny.
The new season starts again in 13 days time and I can't wait! Supposedly,it's their last season which is kinda boo-hoo sad. But, still, I can't wait to see who's pregnant, who's the father and all that hyped up nonsense that the tv station is getting us to believe.

I don't think many people know that this website is up yet. I think right now, only about less than 10 people have visited it. What I hope it becomes is a page where people can visit often just to post messages up and let the others know what's going on in their lives. I guess it's kind of like ecircles, but I really hope that it'll be a lot more active. I realize most people don't go online very often nowadays, especially since you most of you are busy studying, going out or 'boiling porridge':) Still, I hope this website helps you in case you ever forget what happened to the person who sat behind you in Form5. I haven't gotten everyone yet and it's going to take time. I expect to work on this website less and less as the weeks progress because I know I'm going to up to my head in assignments and projects, so here's hoping that you guys will keep it alive through the message board!
