12/29/00 - Wassup yo! OK, nothin new! Keep it real! 12/22/00 - Hey everyone, sorry we haven't updated everything in a while but were gonna fix that. Were now a well developed SKA band consisting of our awesome horns Jason Sackler, Mike Musgrove, and Mike Boniface. We've been pretty busy lately scheduling some big shows and also playing them. We had a show 4 nights ago at "Something Unusual Music" that was a big success. Thanks to all of you that came out and supported us (and Stick Shift). Also a special thanks to Todd Olsen for filling in for Mike Musgrove the other night while he was out of town. We were offered to play with Final Kry, a band from Lakeland, again sometime in February or March so we'll keep you updated on that. Thats all for now so God bless and peace out... ~Jason & Scott Hi everyone! This is Scott. I was sitting here, admiring my new turquoise hair, and I decided to make a band website. So here it is. Wow, we have been very busy over here. Finally, we have a band up and running and playing shows. You probably don't understand, but I have been wanting a band for a couple years. Then, me and Mike met Jason and jammed a little. He introduced us to Nick, and then we formed. We were planning on practicing a lot before we started playing shows, but after about our second practice, we were invited to play at our friends surprise birthday party. That was fun because we knew everyone there so basically we played five or six planned songs, and then jammed for an hour, letting other people sing and stuff. Then, the next week, we played at another surprise birthday party, with Passive Resistance. For those of you who don't know who Passive Resistance is, they are a local hardcore/punk band. They have been together longer than us and had 73 ORIGINALS!! Meanwhile, at those two shows we only had one, which was actually my English project about War of the Worlds. Two weeks later, we played another show, this one at the Teen Zone. It was our first public show in front of people we didn't know, and we also had a planned show of twelve songs. Here, we debuted our second original, called "On Top" which I had written the week before. It was well received, even though the majority of the audience was sixth-grade teeny-boppers who are more into boy bands, dance music, and hip-hop than punk music. Look for sound clips of "On Top" and our first original song, "They Came, Conquered, Caught a Cold and Died (the English Project Song)" in a few weeks. Also, we have five originals in the works, so look for those also. As far as shows go, we will probably return to the Teen Zone soon. Also, we might be opening for my friend's ska band One Of Them. I will post those when I hear when and where. At the moment, we are a four piece punk band that plays mostly covers and I guess sounds like MXPX and Blink 182. However, we might be adding horns to our lineup soon, because everyone knows skanking is better than moshing. See you at a show, Scott |
