I went to the RWA conf in Reno this year and didn't get the editorial contacts that I wanted...too late too make an appointment but I got what I wanted from the conference. Had a fantastic time(some sightseeing before and after conference helped too!!) but really was happy with what I came away from the conference with. A new found way to think about my writing and where I was going wrong and where I want to be with it and that is the great. It's just taken me a couple of months to work all that out but that's good, it's like starting from scratch again but with a lot more enthusiasm then I've had in a long time and I know that with that enthusiasm will eventually come the success that I want.

While in Reno I made some great new friends too, my Scare'em Buddies Angela, Evelyn and Robyn and I want them to have every success in the world. Heck I want us to celebrate our successes as often as we can....got a liking for some yummy martinis while I was there. So to you lovely ladies and your future successes ...I raise my glass.
