While attempting to round out this story and rescue everyone, dragon ran into a) recalcitrant characters, b) RL, and c) something of a dearth of ideas on how to get Kung Lao back to square one.  Or an unreasonable facsimile thereof.  (Also, got tired.  All those nightmares -- whoof!)  Sooooooo -- as dragon has her talons full of other characters, ideas, kids, RL, lurks, etc. if someone would like to pick up the dropped brick or two at the end of this bit of angsty fluff, be my guest.  Just post it to the Library and let dragon know you've applied trowel, mortar and plumb bob to the situation.  dragon's home addy (at the wonderous somewhat electroplated dragon lair) can be found here.
