The far wall of Giles' living room shimmered in a circle.  It looked like water.  It hadn't been there a minute ago.  The seaquest addict's mouth dropped open.  Soundlessly, she tugged on dragon's sleeve to get her attention.

"Not now."

Tug, tug.

"Not now," dragon reiterated with a look at her daughter.  She followed the line of sight from the look to --  "Oh no," she said in a small voice as two men stepped out of the shimmer.  "Oh no.  This -- it can't -- it's not -- oh no."  The shimmer dissipated abruptly leaving two tall, very good looking young men standing about two feet from the wall and looking confused as all get out.

The slightly older one, dark haired and with a mouth that looked like it would have a nice smile, consulted a device he held in his hand and then looked at the other one.  Then he frowned and looked around.  "Maggie.  Rembrant."  He looked around and spotted dragon who was entirely too numb to hide the tesserect in her black taloned hand.  "What have you done?"

"Bog!" she squeeked and tried to step behind Giles for some protection.  Over looking that the younger man was three inches taller and several kilos heavier than Giles, and that Giles was looking a great deal like he wished he wasn't there.

Luckily, Quinn Mallory recognized panicked middle aged ladies when he saw them and was inclined to let Grace and the praahr distract him anyway.  Visually speaking, one large golden furred whatsit and one dark haired, catsuited young lady who looked vaguely reminiscent of Maggie were enough to derail him for the moment.

The knock at the door caught Giles off guard.  It was a prefunctory knock at best.  The door opened to admit Xander who burbled in, closing the door behind him.

"Giles!  Just the guy I was looking for."

"Then you definitely came to the right place," Giles agreed.

That stopped Xander for a moment, who then took a long, silent look around the room.  "Ah.  Company."  He thought for a moment.  "Party!" he guessed and realized that he might just be a little in the way, especially as there seemed to be a superabundance of -- really annoyingly good looking guys in the room and only one babe.  "Ah.  Sorry.  I'll  -- just go --"

"No. -- That -- won't be necessary."  Giles had never before considered Xander as  a straw to be grasped at.  There is a first time for everything.  Somehow, the enthusiastic and sometimes bewildered young man seemed much more concrete and real than the crowd around him.

"No?"  Xander looked somewhere between surprised and shocked.  Then he understood.  "You need a bartender?"  Something in the back of his brain told him this was silly, but it was a much better explanation than, say, Giles needing him to stay there because this was just a bit much for the older man to handle with aplomb.  Whatever that was.

Fold.  A quartet of fatigue garbed military personnel materialized in the center of the living room.  The shaggy haired male, his wire rimmed glasses askew, fell over the couch immediately.

"Whoa!  Hey!"  Xander instinctively offered the man a hand up.

The seaquest addict retrieved her lower jaw from the carpet and turned to look at her mother.  "We are in  so much trouble."

dragon goggled at the SG1 crew, praying that O'Neill wasn't wearing one of the shirts on which she had painted "Colonel".  Oh, boy.  Jack O'Neill, Daniel Jackson, Teal'C, Samantha Carter, Quinn and Colin Mallory, Rupert Giles, Xander Harris, Lord Rayden -- sensory overload.  Rayden.  That was it.

dragon turned to Rayden and informed him that this was  all his fault.  Then she fainted.  Thud.  The seaquest addict regarded the fallen dragon in surprise.  That was a first.  She looked at Rayden's frown.

"Well, she is right, y'know."

"What??"

"Well," she said as she sat down.  "If you hadn't taken the tesserect from dragon in the first place, we wouldn't be here."  She tried very hard not to quail before the touches of lightning flashing in his eyes.

Of course, he had to admit she was right.  If he hadn't taken the tesserect, he'd be in EarthRealm and none of them would be here.  He sighed and nodded.  "So, what do we do?"

"What we?  You're the god.  Fix it."

A number of people paled, started and otherwise reacted to her blase reference to Rayden's status.  The SG1 team frowned.  Goa'uld?  Xander paled and edged away from everyone, toward the door.  Quinn and Colin looked sceptical.

"How?"

"How would I know?  You're the god.  Do something godly."

Rayden picked up the tesserect from dragon's limp hand and frowned at it.  Electrical currents danced before his eyes.  Ah.  That was it.  He shifted something minute and -- there.  He handed it to the addict.

"Kewl!  OK, guys and gals, listen up."  Briefly, the addict explained what she thought the problem was -- intersecting realities.  "So, if you activate your call home and you activate the slider control and I hit the coordinates for Zhou Zhin all at once, we should get straightened out.  OK?  One, two, three."

The stargate effect opened on the wall behind Quinn and Colin.  The slider wormhole opened behind the lurkers and -- the lurkers, unconcious dragon and all, folded silently back to -- the water fight at Zhou Zhin!!!!!

"I hate time loops," the seaquest addict said quietly, reset the tesserect for a few hours later and delivered Lord Rayden to his own place and time before taking the awakening dragon home.

Col. O'Neill nodded to Giles and took his people through the gate.  Quinn looked like he wanted to ask questions, but Colin pointed out that Maggie and Remmie were probably getting worried.  With a grin and a nod, the two young men launched into the wormhole and disappeared.  This left Xander and Giles standing there wondering if they'd really seen all those people or not.

"Ah -- Xander.   What was it you wanted?"

Xander opened and closed his mouth a couple of times, sound not being produced.  He shrugged his shoulders, shook his head and left without a word.

The seaquest addict returned Grace to her flat without mishap.  It was almost a let down after the usual problems encountered by dragon.  Almost.  She looked at the clock and realized that she was going to have to let go of the warm fuzzy feelings in a hurry.  She had class in 15 minutes!!
