This is the swatch of 4 colors that I made from the image I chose to build this page around.

I then made a gradient using all 4 of the colors from my swatch.
I tried to make sure that both ends of the gradient were similar in shade.

I then made a tile from the orangey shade from my swatch
I used the Eye Candy 3 swirl plugin as suggested followed by the simple filters quick tile.

And lastely I have used a tile of the yellowish colors from the swatch for this table.
