All systems go for Sherwood Content Waldensia Homecoming 2K8. Yes, friends, this is a special invitation to you and yours, family and friends, local and abroad, to participate in Sherwood Content/Waldensia Homecoming 2K8 activities from Saturday July 26 � August 2, 2008.

You will recall that in 2007, the Homecoming Foundation in collaboration with Digicel Foundation established a Computer Reading Resource Centre, at a cost of Two Million Dollars at the Waldensia Primary School. Also, the Digicel Foundation, through the instrumentality of Mr. Usain Bolt, refurbished the Piedmont Basic School. Again, many thanks to all.

The Homecoming Foundation calls upon you once more to come on board, as we aim to assist in providing flush toilets for the children at the Waldensia School. According to the Ministry of Education, the estimated cost is Three Million Dollars (M$3,000,000.00). We will not be daunted by the cost but will make our small contribution in cash or kind.

To begin, we ask for your wholehearted support for the following planned events: � Church Service - July 26 - Seventh Day Adventist Church - 10.00 a.m. � Gospel Concert - July 27 - Waldensia Baptist Church - 6.00 p.m. � Health Fair - July 29 - Waldensia Primary School - 10.00 a.m. � Visitation - July 31 - Reserve/Sherwood - All Day � Cultural Mix/Rising Star/Sports Day - August 1 - School Grounds - 9.00 a.m. � Formal Dinner - August 2 - Starfish Hotel - 7.00 p.m.

Tickets for the dinner are now available at a cost of Three Thousand dollars ($3,000.00) each (contact Principal or any Executive member of the Foundation).
