Personality and History: Nfertari Baltimore (or Tari, as she likes to call herself) would be considered by others as a very grounded, serious person, as befit her Capricorn nature, but she also has a bit of a funny and mischievious side when she's in the mood. Tari likes figuring out and debating things right down to the last detail, which often landed her in heated discussions with teachers and students when she was in high school. Her parents divorced when she was just 10 years old, but through her mother's love and guidance, she had learn to get through it and understand that sometimes relationships don't work out. While she doesn't resent her father for the divorce, she still harbors a slight grudge to him, and wonders what truly caused her parents' break-up. Somehow, she knows her parents still care about each other and still have somewhat of a relationship, as proven when her mother found out she was pregnant with the twins on the day they decided to divorce.
In high school, Tari was considered one of the "popular kids", but didn't really pay it much mind, and didn't use that influence to bully or intimidate the other students, as the other popular kids did. She would very much sit with one of the "unpopular" kids just well as with the "populars", and had no problem with it. She was somewhat into sports, joining the basketball and soccer teams, but she didn't go overboard with it as everyone expected her to. She knew her limits, and certainly didn't believe in overexhausting herself just to impress people. As a matter of fact, she even quit the basketball team in her senior year when it proved it interfered with her studies. Tari's biggest dream is to attend a prestigious college one day, so she knew how important her grades were. She was ecstatic to find out one day that she got accepted into Colombia University in Manhattan.
Then, one night during a party just before her 18th birthday, tragedy struck Tari by the hands of someone she trusted very much. She was never the same again. While she still occasionally smiles and laughs, there is still deep pain and sadness in her eyes from the loss of something she treasured very much, and was only half energetic, happy, and passionate as before that fatefull night. From that night no, Tari found it very hard to trust men. But after over a year of therapy, she is slowly coming out of her shell. Then one day, her father called and asked if she wanted to join him in Egypt. Tari jumped at that chance, and decided to take at least a year off college and study with her father in the ancient land of Egypt. While she was nervous about it, Tari also knew this was a chance to get to know her often absent father, and learn to trust again.
From when she firt set foot on Egypt, Tari knew her life would never be the same. but she hopes in her heart that she will come out of her adventure a changed woman, and be able to fulfill whatever destiny had for her.
