Baoyi's singing was first heard on "Xiang Nian Yu Sheng", an album recored in rememberance of Zhang Yu Sheng, a song writer who passed away in an accident in 1998. Baoyi released her first debut album "A-Baw" in April 1999. August 2000, she released her second album entiled "Xiang Ai". The songs in this album wons the hearts of many people .
