Grand Canyon

----------

Located entirely in northern Arizona, the park encompasses 277 miles of the Colorado River and adjacent uplands. One of the most spectacular examples of erosion anywhere in the world, Grand Canyon is unmatched in the incomparable vistas it offers to visitors on the rim. Grand Canyon National Park is a World Heritage Site.

Kahea, Lonnie and I pose for this shot. We looked over the edge of the Canyon. Wow, what a beautiful sight!

The clouds over the Grand Canyon were so fluffy. Although you could already see the storm starting to develop, the temperatures were still quite warm.

Kahea takes a break from hiking along the trails.

Lookie what I see!
It may not look like much, but there are trails to the bottom of the canyon. Although they appeared more like ants from standing on the rim, mules carrying folks down the hill to the bottom can be seen on the trails.
