| The Song of My Heart August 28, 1994 Since I heard Jesus' loving voice My heart has been singing every day, And as I walk beside Him I rejoice For my best Friend is with me always! So let the clouds darken the sky And hide the face of the sun, I know that the song of my heart will never die For the victory has already been won! Dark valleys may bring me to my knees But the LOrd will answer when I call, "Jesus, I need You. Help me please." He lifts the load and makes it seem so small! When disappointments and sorrows break my heart The mist of doubt and fear arise to dim the way, Then sweet peace and comfort He doeth impart And the light of His love turns night to day! When tossed upon life's sea of confusion And waves of discouragement rage high, I life my voice in "Blessed Assurance" For my Savior and Guide is close by! |
| The Son Shines March 28, 2001 From the dark recesses of the tomb Jesus arose early the third day, Arrayed in the most glorious light Those keeping watch became as dead men, they say. Death's strong chains could not hold Him Ant the stone rolled away, I know To let all see the tomb was now empty This same victory is promised to all washed in Calvary's flow. In all majesty and power God the Son shines Chasing away our every fear as we go through this land, Oh, what sweet peace safeguards our minds Joyfully we sing as in His strength we stand! Why do you stand back in indecision, O sinner? No longer doubt for He bore your sin and mine, Only trust and believe in the risen Savior And walk in His love, for teh Son shines! |
