In late 1994, Sensuous Sherri became the manager of a tag-team, Booker T and Stevie Ray.  Together they were known as Harlem Heat.  Sherri changed her name again, this time to Sister Sherri.
Sherris first major event as manager of Harlem Heat was at Starrcade 94 where they faced the team of the Nasty Boys.  Sherri showed right away that she would be just as active as the manager of a tag-team as she was when she managed singles competitors.  She interfered in the match at Starrcade and actually got her team disqualified!
Over the next two years, Sherri and Harlem Heat had many battles with the Nasty Boys.  The two tag-teams were the main contenders for the WCW Tag-Team Titles and both the Nasties and the Heat held the titles several times between 1995 and 1997.
Sherri often illegally involved herself in matches, doing whatever it took to achieve her goals.  This generated anger and hatred both from the Nasty Boys as well as WCW fans who cheered when Sherris plans sometimes backfired.
One notable battle between the Nasty Boys and Harlem Heat occurred at Uncensored 95.  It was a no-disqualification Texas Tornado match.  In this non-title match, falls would count anywhere in the building, and since there was no disqualification, Sherri would be allowed to interfere as much as she wanted!  And interfere she did- the match spilled into a concession stand area where a food fight ensued.  The Nasties ended up winning the match but the titles stayed with Harlem Heat.
While managing Harlem Heat, Sister Sherri also developed a romance with another manager, Colonel Robert Parker.  Parker was managing a rival tag-team at the time, Bunkhouse Buck and Dick Slater.  Sherri used her feminine wiles to distract Parker during a match at Fall Brawl 95 so Buck and Slater fired him.  He then moved over and co-managed Harlem Heat with Sherri.
1996 was not a good year for Sister Sherri or Harlem Heat.  At Halloween Havoc, they lost the WCW Tag-Team Titles for good to Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.  It was also the year that Parker left Sherri at the altar for another woman.  Sherri was able to get a measure of revenge at World War III 96 when she beat Parker up after Harlem Heat defeated the Colonels new tag-team!  After three years in WCW, Sherri left the organization in 1997.
