Snow Clouds

Above the elm and maple tree
an elegance draws near.
And landscape bows to royalty
as wintertime is here

Snow clouds touch a withered field
and trails where pincones hide.
Memories falling will reveal
another countryside.

The earth receives her ivory crown
the season can begin.
Tonight, I lay my burdens down
it's snowing, once again.
