Please Don't Leave

I know that I'm not always there for you
When you're in need of me, it's true
My needs have always come first, it's sad
And I then to forget the life we had

Now you found someone that cares
For who you are and how you fare
He receives the love that should be mine
And dares to cross the unspoken line

To steal you from my heart and bed
And make my soul feel lost and dead
If it's not to late for us my friend
Our hearts to heal our souls to mend

From this day on, you will see
A more tender loving, caring me
The past forgotten, our love reborn
For without  you my heart is torn

My life is empty, my soul is black
Oh please my love, won't  you come back
And heal this heart that bleeds in pain
So we can learn to love again.

All I ask is , please don't leave yet
I promise this you will not regret
For you will be my life, my love
I'll never place my needs above

Our souls, our hearts, our love again
From past distractions, will refrain
And till my death, I shall not swerve
To give the love you so deserve
