| Ode to Love...Don Quixote and Dulcinea Sometimes you have to let it go...let it go, let it go, just go I need to have but do without this ache that tells me so Sweethearts beat a difference in the everyday of words Then go their way and never mind the facts that are absured To love without the mind in tow and grapple sudden fears When love is there and hopes are not when grinds give way to tears Mundane originality...isn't what is here Its love that hurts and tattooed pains...it tears throughout the years Its hopes wrapped in all innocence...its trust that undertook This voyage of hopeless memories secured with just one look Overpowered imagings...it was to good for truth When hands scanned miles and smiles kissed day of younger dated youth We are not babes we can't get back the trials of yesterday We are adults...we are in tune..we always have to pay For gestured sins and watchful eyes..for exaperated wiles For days gone by when we were us and pride was worn with style I wish with all my energies...my passions...and my heart That you had come much earlier to start this too late start My heart bleeds tears that never stop like winds that howl and blow Sometimes love comes and smiles for naught and then we just let go For Don Quixote and his dream, Dulcinea and her charm The inconsistent battle cry that love can do us harm For dreams that keep and feelings spent with tears that pay and pay Poor Don and she...his dream of dreams...let go, let go...today.
