Martial Bliss

It's funny how our marraige works
We each have many different quirks
Now she is always right you see
No never wrong, that's left for me

When I'm down and very tired
She is bubbly and very wired
When I wake up I'm quite the mess
But she looks great I must confess

If I'm upset of certain things
She flies around on angel's wings
When I look at her in need and lust
It's then she decides it's time to dust

And when I drive her in the car
Before we get too very far
A list of errors I have made
And like a ticket must be paid

By speeches on the proper way
And more attention I must pay
When shopping I look for what's cheaper
The most expensive is with her the keeper

And when she arrives home from work
Hidden behind the door I lurk
Ready to hug and smother her with kisses
Instead I'm scolded for not doing dishes

And when the laundry I attempt to do
It's "You should never mix white with blue"
And when I plan on going fishing
It's time together she was wishing

And every time we go head to head
We make up before we go to bed
What is marraige without a fight
And as I said, she's always right!!!

But I would never say or do
Anything that would change you
From the person that you are
My wife, my lover, my shining star

For in our love we are the same
Without regrets and without shame
For these differences of which I cite
makes marriage stong and lovers tight.
