As I look at you I marvel at
the joy that you have brought
My life has been so happy and
I could really wish for naught
Your gentleness and compassion
is the foundation of my soul
The loving heart that you possess
has granted me such console
I know I don't say often
these words you like to hear
But I deeply, truly love you
of this please have no fear
I live a life of loving you
yes a life you made complete
Every day is filled with joy
my soul you do replete
Each night my dreams rejoice
in gentle touch of your caress
and soft music of your voice
I listen to your silken speech,
so soft yet so full of life
Like a lullaby to soothe my mind
and rid me of all strife
Looking deeply into your eyes
I see a reflection of me
In that mirror of my face
devotion is what I see
You have spent a lifetime
giving me strength and Light
Always there to praise me
and keep me tracking right
You held my hand in guidance
on every bridge we've crossed
For all those times I thank you
My love, without you I'd be lost
I only pray, I've given back
as much as I've received
This union shared as man and wife
Of true love it was conceived.
