A star shone brightly
Above His crude bed
As by its guidance
The travelers were led
They knew in their hearts
That He was the One
Salvation from God
Giving His only son
His birth was a miracle
His presence a grft
To teach us humility
And our souls to uplift
His life has a purpose
To teach us the way
To Light and love
And hold evil at bay
2000 years later
I look for that star
Praying it comes back
We haven't come far
