A Prayer For Strength

I have been down so many roads
Took the burden of the heavy load
tried to build dreams
but it always seems
they are like bubbles in the air
I have climbed every hill
have turned the other cheek and stood still
Taken all that I can
but I am but a man
and I do't know just how much more I can bear,
So I come to you today
my world in dismay
for this time I feel I cannot push on
my will is almost gone
can you show me the way?
I need a candle in the night
a loving guiding light
For I feel I soon will fade
cause without help, I cannot make the grade
Oh Lord will you help me I pray.
