Enjoin the good, and forbid the bad… again I ask that Islam extend itself as a partner in the world to my country, that through this we may find a greater understanding between us which would lend to the struggle. There IS vision of this to be seen – if you only look.
But know this: I don’t ask you to recognize me as anything. I don’t ask you to change your religion. I ask you to try to see truth and goodness in others and seek reform in your ways. That is all. Pure and simple. I ask for you all to look to cooperate with one another.
