Reviews for "I Dare You"
I DARE YOU is written by author Sheri Livingston. Ms. Livingston took a premise about two fascinating woman and penned an intriguing tale of love found in the most unexpected and sensuous of ways. Ms. Livingston portrayed the couple in a very convincing story of passionate and erotic love. It is also about individuals having to face hard truths about their lives and hopefully change things for the better.
You could switch the sexes anyway you wanted and this story would still come out the samewonderfully believable and highly emotional. Writing of that nature makes the novel more connectable for the readers and reaches a larger audience.
This is more than just a story about two women that fall in love and have sex. It is about how their lives develop and the interactions that shape and mold their world.
Please note: This is a novel written about an alternative life style and if you find this offensive, then this book may not be for you.

Kelsey, who inherited her beloved father's company at his death, relaxes by covering her face and strips at a gay bar. She cannot afford to be noticed because her company buys and dismantles companies. If her board of directors were to find out about her hobby... Her beautiful long-legged body is beloved by all the women who flock in to see her strip. Kelsey does not care anything for those women, but her friends at the club comprise her only family.
Jordan wanders in to the seedy club one night and is immediately captivated by the amazing woman who is stripping. Family is a definite problem for Jordan-her mother was just laid off after 30 years and her younger sister is a drug addict. Jordan owns and runs a karate studio. In addition to competing herself, Jordan assists neighborhood children in improving their lives through the self-esteem judo confers.
After the first night that Kelsey and Jordan spend together, they find themselves unable to separate. They make love and spend time together because they have fallen in love. Unfortunately, neither woman reveals her secrets to the other and their lives together get very complicated. Both women have secrets that each is afraid to reveal, and their secrets intertwine, as do their lives.
I Dare You is an extremely graphic love story. I have never read lesbian fiction before but I think that Ms. Livingston wrote a book whose premise works well. Kelsey and Jordan and the secondary characters are very well-written. I followed the plot eagerly, wanting to know if this loving couple would be able to overcome their pasts and develop a future together. Ms. Livingston did an admiral job.
