Meg's Runaway Method
Runaway petz? Want them back? My friend Meg has discovered a method of bringing back runways without using a hex editor. Follow the simple steps below. This method is copyright 2001 to Meghan Hurt. If you wish to use it on your website, you need our permission. This may NOT work with some petz. Email us!
1. If your pet is still on the "pick a pet" menu, click it and a message should come up along with the pet disappearing off your "pick a pet" list. Close petz.
2. Now, go to my computer (windows explorer) and go to C:\Program Files\
Then click on P.F.Magic, then Petz 3/4, then runaway petz.
3. Once you are in the folder, copy the pet file. Make sure you have one copy and the original.
4. Drag one pet file (it doesn't matter which) into the adopted petz folder and leave the other one in the runaway folder.
5. Open petz and your pet will come back.
6. Play, and be careful in future!
