| WHERE & WHEN WILL THE HIKE START? |
| I will be starting at the southern terminus of the trail on Springer Mountain in Amicalola Falls State Park, Georgia. Step-off day is April 8. Along the way, I will hike through Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. The trip takes 5-7 months. I hope to reach the northern terminus on Baxter Peak, Mt. Katahdin in Baxter State Park, Maine, by the end of September. |
