Now we have a new black metal (not "yelling" typically) band From cd. Juarez is a new promise very good band if you want to hear about them don’t delay 

and try this power and write to “Belphegor”. Well first of all tell me who answered the enterview. And how is the band right now.

R= Hail…Ivan Carbajal,  belphegor “drummer”. And the line up is by: Carlos Torres guitar, Alfredo Rivera “bass”, David Reyes guitar and we had a first line up 

     change. Our new vocals Alfredo Rocha.

How, When, and where born the band.

R= I was planning the band since years ago, David, Carlos and myself were playing since 1997 with other bands the last one was “Cult Of Agony”. when that 

     band gone was born belphegor, in june of 2002 in cd. Juarez chih.

In which Vein are the band. I had a chance to see live and I’ll consider the band style as a black death powerfull but more as nn the vein of black.

R= the main idea was play a powered black metal, filled of intensity and crudeness, For this was necessary more heaviness on the guitars,I think we canot be

on the death vein 

R2= Whats up here is carlos to complish Ivan comments. For us is metal, not necesarly as a divisor line between black and death, Besides our main reference 

 or influences are into death metal that obviously are manifested when we wrote. We follow the path of old metal school starting on 90’s and the beginnings of black school…That’s all 

How can you define.

R= For us black metal is solemn and is what we show up. We try to keep the crudeness and the dark atmosphere but you can find trails of other veins. 

 Finally the horde are who give’s their own definition, some people could titled us as black and other as a death metal . for example Dissection is labeled 

 as a death but for me is a great black metal influence.  

Do you have songs ready to record.

R= 8 and we are working a lot

What are they talking about, Any message 

R= message is clear and direct. And are influenced by the philosophy of Anton lavey but with our own arguments, is our Vision and also you can find a 

 social aspect and situations more dark and abstracts in our lyrics.

Who compose the music, And the lyrics

R= This is primary . All the work in the band is done by all the members, one or another way. All in the band compose and write etc...

Any plan to record. Or a label deal .

R= at the end of the year we will have our first demo debut. After that we’ll start to promote the band to get a label deal. We are a new band and we are

Besides the last show in june are you still playing. With what bands and where

we had been playing just a few shows we start last December on a Chuck Schuldiner Metalfest with local bands and UMBRAE , VASTOBERANT from 

Chihuahua. In our previous bands we played some shows with bands as IMMORTAL,CEPHALIC CARNAGE, MONSTROSITY, PAUL DI ANNO and Mexican 

bands as BURIED DREAMS, DISGORGE ,TRANSMETAL, MEN AT ARMS, Under Moonlight Sandess ,AGLAROND, and a tons of local underground bands. 

On your shows you played With painted faces. Is there any meaning for you.

R= Yes. We consider that our image and music is only one thing. I can't image play without paint, could lost the essence, paint is the essence of our music. 

 Besides the ritualistic meaning of the colors.

What music do you listen and you’re musical influences.

R= We listen everything about metal specially old metal school as: Cancer, Obituary, Sepultura all stuff of Entombed, Dismember, Mayhem , Enslaved,

 Burzum, Black Sabbath, But we are strongly influenced by bands as: MARDUK, IMMORTAL, DISSECTION, EMPEROR, CIRITH GORGOR, LIMBONIC ART, 

 DARK FUNERAL, ant tons of great metal bands.

 R= nothing special or particular 

Now let talk about cd. Juarez metal scene. Tell us how is right now. 

R= Cd Juarez scene. Is been in 3 phases : ascend, descent , ascend, of course the last one not as the first time there is too many new faces. 

I would like to know where is the people to join us and full the shows too many maniacs on every show, Was a really great metal warriors. We understand 

the metamorphosis of metal. we need teach to all new fans that metal scene is not just Cradle of filth & Dimmu borgir and we need give the thanks to this 

bands because others fans are starting to find more bands. And I don’t know if lamentably or fortunately these guys are on the shows while the real metal 

 maniacs are out of the shows.

Why if cd. Juarez is place of great bands as “Misericord”(one of my best local bands… where are you my friend….)We don’t give the continuity and stop 

on the way. (what a shame …). What do the scene need or what happen.

R= I don’t know the reason of why Misericord gone . was one of my fave local band. On our previous bands we found a lot of people with different faces 

starting with rip off until the “rock star” that know everything. Or and also some guys with a small brain with a lot of shit on it, or what about the one that try 

to start as a drug dealer and was fucked up.. for this reason we started to have a of line up changes.

Cd Juarez is been catalogued as a cradle of Satanism and more shit and all of this for some peoples are mentioned with metal scene. 

What do you thing about this.

R= Great stupidity . All the people are desperate and want a solution to all of hundred of dies here. Government must finish with this instead of lie to all the 

people. They know that all the peoples fear to all incomprehensible. This a great way of wash their hands and telling is the devil the assassin. I hope that 

government don’t try to find trues on their own lies. If this happen we will finish as our Chihuahua metal brothers.  

R2(Carlos)=It’s a shit of the size of a nation.  Taking Ivan’s comment all the masses fear about the unknown, but is real masses can create a change and a 

city as Cd. Juarez that lived for more of 400 years of oppression, besides live now are adapted to this form of life. and are conditioned to live on the sea of 

mediocrity and never raise the hands to fuck the government. To the society of good morals for a while their priest are fucking the children and the politics 

stole the poor money from our families. And the rich clan enjoy their morbid pleasures with the commonality that have nothing of social power. They point to 

minority that is not adapted on his concept, naturally we are that minority, they have a lot of people investigating but they don’t know nothing about the city, 

But they have their own police methods that are enough to do guilty a bus driver of crash a twins tower with a plane. 

What are you doing to support metal scene in Juarez . 

R=well we had been organize some shows here supporting local bands. Weks ago we were having shows every week on a bar called “metal monastery” 

but for a lack of support that project gone for this moment. Also we are working in some projects as a Fanzine with the idea of promote local and world scene.

future plans.

R= Find shows organizers to do a better and bigger shows distribute our demo :radio , fanzines, fans, etc... and touring trough Mexico and USA
