Can you imagine a shy girl ever coming to Dubai all alone?
Well that was me before.
How does Sherryll Millicent look?
My eyes, (which my mom says is my best asset) are often confused by others as "suplada and mataray".
But in reality, my eyes show what I truly feel.
I've always felt that I'm fat.
That's because since grade school I had a hard time losing those baby fat of mine.
Often, friends would tease me cause I always end up the chubby fat on the group.
Keeping active and healthy diet (thankfully!) keep me in shape.
I do all type of hair do's.
When you see my hair so short, that's the time I'm so depressed.
I wonder why, but having a haircut when depressed gives me a feeling of bad elements going out of me.
Talking to me is totally a different story.
My face would easily break into a wide grin and my eyes, people says can really be charming when I talk.
When you meet me, I would be quiet at first but when in the mood, I can really be so talkative.
As in talkative!!!
I'm a self-confessed shop-a-holic.
"As in hindi kumpleto ang salary day ko pag wala akong nabili sa mall."
I have a growing collection of clothes, shoes, bags and all "kikay" stuff which make my room an interesting place to enter.
Pink and purple are my colors. I prefer pastel colors than bright ones.
But what sets my spirit free is dancing.
My mom says she saw me dancing since the age of three.
Now, when will I ever stop kaya!
People usually calls me She; but close friends calls me Sheng or Millize.
My parents calls me differently.
They call me Sweet-sweet.
Maybe I'm really that sweet when I was a kid.
Wonder where the heck my parents got the name Millicent?
Millicent means million centavos. But please make it dollars ha!
I was born on the 8th of August, and I'm a Leo by heart.
I'm turning 27 na! Really amazing how time flies no?
Since I was a kid, I love reading books and magazines.
I've always gone gah-gah over romantic novels in college; but now I'm more into informative books like EQ books!
They say that EQ is much better than IQ.
Right now, I'm finishing reading Chicken Soup for Woman's Soul.
I also do cross-stiching which relaxes me from the chaos I normally encounter at work.
I'm the second in the family.
My elder brother Russel Joseph is now working as a customer service assistant in Dahran, Saudi Arabia.
Mary Christine, my younger sister is finishing up Applied Science this coming March.
Dapat lang! Coz it's hard working in Dubai no!
The youngest, Jed Lester, is in fifth grade elementary school.
Three years ago I had never imagine I would be here in Dubai.
Going abroad was way out of my mind.
But guess what? This is my third year here in Dubai working as a sales assistant at Dubai Duty Free.
At this age, I want to live my life to the fullest!
That's what we all should do, di ba?
We should always stay happy even on our gloomiest days!
Smile! Don't worry about tomorrow cause its already tomorrow in Australia!!!
