History Childhood: His mother died during childbirth and his father took him to America to escape the riots. He hated his son and wanted to get rid of him but had to keep him since the government knew he had him. His mother was a drug addict, and some of her problems were passed onto Devon. His father and mother weren't married, but his mother was a random hooker his father had a fling with - a random hooker that came back for him when she had Devon. He killed her, but Devon doesn't know that yet... his reputation ruined, they moved to America. His father kept him from school until 3rd grade, and made him do work around their run-down apartment. Daily Devon was alone, with no one - absolutely no one. He learned to live in his own world, and this helped him at times... helped him until his father began beating him and molesting him. Then the dream world was all too important, and he practically lived it. Forced to go to school around age 9 he was terrified of other children and almost never opened his mouth. He would act out violently around the kids in his class since he was not used to being around others, and he was eventually expelled. His father didn't care, and just made him work more and continued bringing home hookers and gay friends that would gang rape on his little son.
Teenage: In middle school Devon again tried school and again got expelled, but this time he refused to go home. At age 11 (I'm just putting this in teenage...) he ran away from home and found his own little rut in an alleyway. It was here that he met Neema, and Neema took him back to her home for a few days. Devon got a job at one of Neema's friends, Sugar's, family businesses. By the time he was 13 he had his own place, a very run down apartment but it was a place nontheless. At this point Devon had become a slut, sleeping with anyone he could based on looks alone - male and female. Sugar tried to warn him, but Neema and he were out of control - even though they didn't do anything together they lived similar lifestyles. Judeca and Devon had a fling, Shadow and Devon, Devon and any other person he could get his hands on that he met at clubs and bars that he got into with a fake id. He became addicted to various drugs, and probably caused quite a bit of minor braindamage by his overuse of acid. Finally at the age of 16 he met one of his friend's friends named Virus. This boy was different, and he devoted himself to him... amazed at how much this one person was changing his life. And he realized that he only cared for males, and he stopped doing as many drugs - he worked harder at his job at the animal shelter... but then Virus left him for a girl because Devon was too flirty with his friend Silhouette. Devon realized it was his fault that he lost Virus, his fault for being too flirty like he used to be. He tried to commit suicide by overdosing on acid but Neema got to him before he could and took him to the hospital.
After this Devon's close friend Slip, who he had always had a thing for, and he hooked up and did drugs together and had a very nice relationship. They both sobered up, and things were fine until Devon gave Slip the wrong impression that he still loved Virus. Broken again this time the boy cut every inch of his body to shreds, worse than he normally did for pleasure. He even went so far as to cut across his eyes, permanently rendering them blind. But he didn't care, he just wanted to die. And he almost drowned in a pool of his own blood as he bled to death. However, again, Neema's intuition of her friend's dismay was proven true as she took him to the hospital. His eyes were unsavable, but he lived after being in acoma for almost a month.
When out of acoma the hospital wanted to put him in a mental hospital since they had diagnosed Devon with many many problems in his mind. But Sugar's family got him out and took him back to their home where Neema was also living. Neema watched after him for the months it took him to heal and be able to move again. At first he was incredibly furious that someone had tried to save him, furious... depressed... all he did was cry for those months. He wanted to die but they wouldn't let him. He couldn't cope with his existence, much less the loss of his sight. But it seemed suiting, he who had always been a slut losing his eyes that let him get what he wanted. It was sort of like his retribution for giving Virus and Slip the wrong impressions because of his wandering eyes. Always too flirty, always full of heartbreak, always full of sadness he swore to himself he'd never go near anyone again.
He met Remorse, and with Remorse came Enrage. Enrage ordered Remorse to heal Devon, and Remorse did so - bringing back Devon's sight. He was happier than he had been in years, and Enrage and he began a wonderful relationship. Always naive, always running back to what kills him - Devon went to Enrage. And Anima, the Sin of Wrath, was forced to take Devon to Hell to let Lucreito, the Sin of Greed take away his sight again as painfully as possible in order to give him retribution for his undestined return of sight.
Again blind he ran... tried to run as far as he could. And he was cornered, beaten, raped and all his valuables - the money Sugar's family had given him, stolen. He layed bruised and beaten and stumbled back blindly to Neema at Sugar's and they watched over him as he refused to leave his room. Refused to be near anyone.
Eventually Devon found that he did not believe in any sort of god, or in any sort of Hell - despite his visit. He feels that Anima's representation of Wrath is something supernatural, yes, but he doesn't think that there is any form of god, just some further advanced society. Devon left Enrage, by choice, because he found himself falling in love with someone else, Hayden. He couldn't, and wouldn't, be with more than one person at a time again - never, ever again. So he told Enrage goodbye, and went to be with Hayden... and he's never been happier.
Adult: Hayden left him, and again he found himself in a hole that he could not climb out of. He is still in that hole,though he would deny it until he is blue in the face. He puts on a facade to make sure no one worries for him, despite the emptiness he feels inside. He truely loves and adores Kiley, and practically worships his every move. He thinks Kiley feels the same way, and ignores the fact that Kiley is not exclusve with him, though it's actually tearing him up inside.
