A little girl once viewed the ruined land Glazed upon the skies where darkness is at hand Tears on her face as she walked along The land is in pain, suffering and sorrow
Sunrise may not be peaceful as it seems For guns cry loud as fast as the streams The poor little girl, freezing at night Dead people around and filled with fright
Shrilling with fear as the villagers run Begging for mercy as many times as they can An army of invaders who took the girl’s dream Justice and peace, the whole nation screams
Hoping for the next day this war would end That the wounded heart would totally mend For a bright future, a peaceful world For this little girl’s sake and a good tomorrow
Counting the days where all men would be awaken From a deep sleep where their eyes had been taken To a silent, selfish and ungrateful desire Let’s all unite so that peace shall not be exiled |
