The Healer
Live and let live
I admit sometimes I don't give to the poor
I am a sinner
I think as a winner
Let go my ego
my love shimmers
But as I grow older
I notice I'm bolder
The riches of delights
make me grow colder
So I cling onto the Gospel
Jesus is my healer
The book of Love
Now I acknowledge it clearer
'I can do all things
through Him who gives me strength'
To walk in God's hands
And run the length
To go beyond what is real
To look at the future
Paint a lovely picture
To show goodness
with mixtures
I am the salt of the earth
Purify and edify
defy
intellectual b.s.
The true brain is Jesus
Divine intervention
Refined disillusion
I'm now a revived Lazarus
So I rely on the Scriptures
which saved me from death
Christ's words ring true
in both good and evil days
My ways are wicked
Selfish ambition
and stubbornness
The fear of the Lord is
the beginning of knowledge
This I pledge
To love and be loved
From here and where there's no end
To fill void with empathy
To help out our family
and truly see
that fate leans on
our destiny
Sow a thousand seeds
and implement good deeds
There's fish to feed
To end the greed
My thirst for this lead
flashbacks on the cross which bleeds
I believe the Apostle's Creed
To never smoke weed
and instead sow the seeds
We all are in dire need
To see heaven above
Not raven but dove
Immaculate love
To feed and use our heads
Loveblood flows like riverbeds
The healer saves me - "I see,"
said the blind man."
What is healed can heal others
Our fellow sisters and brothers.
