The son bleeds across the azure sky
Our minds can see but our eyes don't know why
Ecstatic feelings that the Holy Spirit stirs
Inspirations speak their mind where our hearts have heard
I gaze upon our God's creation
He's the ultimate artist, a marvelous sensation
Ubiquitous and omniscient, everlasting power
In contrast to alienation, nefariously dour
Son blazing his light emanating throughout the universe
Will his enemies refrain from their infidelity, so perverse
I climbed the moutnain to reach its zenith
Through dark days and light it's Him that leadeth
Atheists and agnostics, will they ever understand?
To lose ground now is like losing a poker hand
And all life's gambles fall deep into oblivion
When will they acknowledge Christ's exoneration to his minions?
He paid the debt that we couldn't pay
Without the bridge we'll fall to the prey
He will crush his head and It will strike his heel
Little does It know that Christ's boots are made of steel
Someday we'll reach the illustrious city
Where there's no more pain or self-effacing pity
Golden avenues, ruby diamond mansions, lakes of glimmering glass
Peace and praise to our Father, truly free at last.
