Lo', I Jig! 4/28/00

College days are gone

bad memories pervade

inside my brain

Saying and thinking in

vain

Complex of low esteem is

chained

Bitterness, disillusioned, and spaced-out

Twist and pout

Lose a bout

With my demons

of my sordid past

"How long will it last?"

Endless, wanderlust days approach us

The girls I dissed, hell, they fussed!

Remorse and regret go hand-in-hand

Sexist, racist, jerk, and creep

In my isolated world I

silently weep

Confessions, detrimental to my asinine self

Image.

these I speak unto Yahweh

Dazed and bewildered I once was

I've lost my war, and

I've pulled out of Oz

in the nick of time

Time chimes

happy am I now,

Lo', I jig!

Life is now what

I dig.
