| "Let's see, what turns me on about Tim... well, first and foremost he's SECURE, with a capitol S. There are so many actors out there who wouldn't touch half of the things he has touched - androgony in Rocky Horror, cartoon voiceovers, children's movies, etc. Tim just does what he thinks is GOOD, regardless of whether or not it's Oscar caliber, or whether or not people are going to think a certain way about him because of it. (Ex: People questioning his sexual preference just because he dressed in drag...) Like, in an interview I read of his a while ago, he said he just took the part of "The Worst Witch" because he thought it was a sweet story, that's it! And there was no attitude from him of "I'm too good for this" at all. I really think that's cool. And I think it makes for a far more impressive resume! :) Instead of just choosing safe, conservative roles all the time like most actors, he's proven he can do pretty much ANYTHING. And for the most part, I'm not one of those girls who goes for society's conventional idea of "handsome" or "hot." I'm not diggin' the Brad Pitts, the Tom Cruises and the Pierce Brosnans. LOL Sure, they're all good-looking, but they don't have that extra special something that Tim has. For me, what's attractive about a guy isn't his body or his looks, but how he USES them. Like someone said earlier, Tim can look either creepy or handsome, depending on his role. He's not just a pretty boy that throws on a Versace suit, a smile, and expects women to swoon. Tim allows his personality, humor, and charm to show through in his mannerisms, his voice, his expressions, his movements, his eyes, everything... THAT, to me, is sexy :). Tim can melt me just with the way he says a line in a movie, the way he looks into someone's eyes, the way he licks his lips, that sexy laugh... anything. Sorry but Brad Pitt couldn't do that to me if he tried, LOL. :) " Like the sound of Tim? I don't blame ya! Learn more at: www.timcurry.com |
| When Mystic first joined the TimCurry.com mailing list in late 2001, shortly after I joined, she wrote this little piece about why she loves Tim. When I read it I was so impressed by the way she could articulate the way she feels about Tim and why she loves him. I couldn't find the words myself, and I was forever having to justify my admiration of Tim to incredulous friends (who in my opinion have no taste ;) ). Mystic put it perfectly. Here it is unchanged (with a few links added by moi) : |
