Welcome to Zac's Pack, Jack Russell Terriers in Oklahoma. My name is Shelley Taylor. My son Zac is my Jack Russell partner and co-pilot when we travel to trials. We are JRTCA members in the "Sooner State" ; we live in central Oklahoma on 10 acres in the country, just outside of Seminole. While all Jack Russell puppies are cute, Jack Russell terriers are not the dog for every family. If you have not already done your research please try the puppy profiler at the JRTCA homepage, www.terrier.com to see if this hunt driven breed is for you. Too many JRT end up in animal shelters because their new owners did not realize just what they were getting into. The JRTCA site also has a great deal of information including the breed standard and trial information. You will find many breeders selling some other "varieties" of what they are calling Jack Russells... we hope you will do your research. We are committed to breeding the best terriers possible, each litter is carefully planned to take into consideration : genetic health, correct structure, good temperments, and preserving the drive to hunt. We do occasionally have puppies available..... some will be show quality and some will be for companion homes.... I don't make crosses just to have numerous litters of puppies to place in pet homes. If I make crosses, it is to obtain an exceptional terrier that I want in my breeding program. |
